Oopsie Daisy
This cute little pattern was lots of fun to do. I picked it to try a technique of machine applique.
The fabric was some I accidently ordered one time when I thought I was going to get 100 fat quarters of Black and White and put down the wrong stock number.

Feathers and Swirls
Since it would have taken me days to quilt this in the heirloom style, I decided just to do an all-over pattern to GET-er DONE. I put Hobbs-80/20 batting inside to give it a little loft.

Iris Quilt
At the Denver Quilt Festival last summer I saw a pattern I loved. The kit had the fabric along with the pattern so I bought it. I made up my mind I was going to have it finished by the quilt show in July 2009. It took about 1 hour for each block and there were 36 blocks. Each block was identical except for the color. I quilted it very simply. I am on the left and Jan Sears from Bridgeport is on the right holding the quilt.

Maggie's Bag
Lorna Wickett from Valentine taught this class on October 17. I took the strips that my grandkids have been sewing together for years and used them for the purse. The handle is made from 1/2" bedspread cording. I might change it. Lorna and her friend Mary Lou Kerr had a great trunk show after the meeting. What a hoot!
